Fertility treatment is straining my mental health and marriage. Is this normal?

I cry often, we argue about money and next steps, and I feel I'm failing. Does everyone feel like this?

What you describe is very common — fertility treatment combines uncertainty, hormones, cost and often family pressure, and it's a recognised source of stress for couples. It doesn't mean your relationship is failing. Things that help: agree on a regular check-in about decisions (rather than daily debate), keep one fertility-free evening a week, decide together what to share with family, and name a budget limit in advance. Fertility counselling is available at many clinics and online. If low mood, hopelessness or anxiety persists most days for two weeks or more, please talk to your doctor or a counsellor.
