After two miscarriages, what tests should we ask for?
We lost our second pregnancy at around 8 weeks. Our family keeps suggesting remedies, but I want to know if there's a medical reason and whether it can be found.

I'm very sorry for both of your losses. Wanting answers is completely understandable. Many guidelines now recommend evaluation after two or more pregnancy losses, especially if you're older or have other concerns. Tests your doctor may consider include: - Chromosome tests (karyotype) for both partners, and if possible, of the pregnancy tissue. - Antiphospholipid antibody tests, a blood condition linked to pregnancy loss. - Thyroid function and thyroid antibodies, and blood sugar. - A scan of the uterus (3D ultrasound, saline scan or hysteroscopy) to look for structural issues like a septum, fibroids or adhesions. - Sometimes prolactin and other hormone tests, depending on your history. It's important to know that in about half of couples, no cause is found even after full testing. That can be frustrating, but it also often means the chance of a healthy future pregnancy remains good. Please avoid unproven remedies or treatments without a clear reason found by your doctor; some can do harm. A specialist in recurrent pregnancy loss or a fertility specialist is a good person to see. If you're struggling emotionally, grief after repeated loss is heavy. Persistent low mood or thoughts of self-harm need urgent help from a doctor or a mental-health helpline.

It happened at 8 weeks. We're heartbroken and unsure whether we should try again soon or wait.
I had my embryo transfer yesterday and I'm already going crazy. Is it okay to test early at home?
I was treated last month for an ectopic pregnancy. Physically I'm healing, but I feel scared and empty, and I don't understand what happened.
