I keep blaming myself for our fertility problems. How do I stop feeling guilty?
I wonder if it's because I waited to marry, or because of stress at work, or something I ate. My husband says it isn't my fault but I can't shake the guilt.

Self-blame is extremely common with fertility struggles, especially for women in India, who are often made to feel responsible regardless of the actual cause. It's important to know that infertility is a medical condition, not a punishment or a personal failing. Most causes, such as ovulation disorders, blocked tubes, endometriosis, sperm problems or age-related changes in egg quality, are not caused by anything a person did wrong. In about a third of couples the cause involves the male partner, and in many no clear cause is found at all. Ordinary daily stress has not been shown to be a main cause of infertility, and no single food is to blame. Some ways to ease the guilt: - Ask your doctor directly what the likely causes are in your case. Facts often replace the stories our minds create. - Notice the 'if only' thoughts and gently remind yourself you made the best decisions you could with what you knew. - Focus on what's within your control now: attending appointments, rest, and support. - Consider speaking to a counsellor; guilt often loosens when it's said out loud. If guilt turns into constant low mood, hopelessness or thoughts of self-harm, please reach out urgently to a doctor or a mental-health helpline.

I cry often, we argue about money and next steps, and I feel I'm failing. Does everyone feel like this?
My cousin and two close friends announced pregnancies this month. I'm happy for them but I cried after each one and now I feel like a terrible person.
I have monitoring scans almost every other day. I'm worried about how to explain without oversharing.
