How do I choose a good IVF clinic and not be misled by success-rate claims?
Every clinic advertises 60–70% success. How do I compare them honestly?

First, confirm the clinic is registered under India's ART (Regulation) Act, 2021 — registration is a baseline safety check. Then look at *what* the percentage measures. A 'pregnancy rate' is not a 'live-birth rate'; ask for the live-birth rate per started cycle or per embryo transfer, for your age group and diagnosis. Success rates differ hugely between a 30-year-old and a 40-year-old, so a single headline figure is meaningless. Also ask who does the procedures, how many embryos are transferred and why, what each add-on is for and what evidence supports it, and the full itemised cost. Be wary of guarantees and pressure to decide on the spot. A second opinion is normal and respected by good clinics.
