How much does one IUI cycle usually cost in India, and what goes into the total?

IUI is much less expensive than IVF, but the procedure fee is only one part of the total. Costs vary widely between cities and types of centres, so treat any figure as a broad estimate. A typical cycle includes: the consultation; baseline tests if not already done; ovulation-inducing medicines (tablets are usually inexpensive, injections cost more); follicle monitoring scans, often three to five per cycle; a trigger injection; the sperm wash and preparation; the insemination procedure itself; and sometimes progesterone support and a pregnancy blood test afterwards. As a rough guide, the IUI procedure alone often falls somewhere in the range of ₹3,000–₹15,000, while a full cycle including medicines and scans can range from about ₹8,000 to ₹35,000 or more, depending mainly on whether injections are used and the city.
