Frequently asked questions

Miro Fertility — FAQs

Quick answers to the most common questions about Miro — what it is, how much it costs, how the Fertility AI Companion works, and how your data stays private.

What is Miro Fertility?

Miro Fertility is an India-based Fertility AI Companion. Patients upload their reports and Miro explains what's happening at every phase of fertility treatment in plain language, keeps a portable fertility fertility passport, and lets them message their clinic directly.

How much does Miro Fertility cost?

Miro Fertility is free for patients — no credit card required to sign up, upload reports, get plain-language education for every phase of IVF, build a fertility fertility passport, message your clinic, or share your passport. The clinic portal (used by fertility clinics, not patients) is a paid fertility EMR billed per clinic.

How does the Miro Fertility AI Companion work?

The Fertility AI Companion explains what's happening in your body at every phase of IVF — stimulation, retrieval, transfer, two-week wait — in plain language. It also flags red-flag symptoms to call your clinic about, prepares a doctor-ready summary plus questions for every appointment, and lets you message your clinic directly.

What is a fertility fertility passport?

A fertility fertility passport is a single portable record of your reproductive health — labs, scans, medications, treatment cycles, and outcomes — that you own and can share with any clinic via a secure time-limited link. Miro builds it automatically as you upload reports.

How does Miro Fertility work?

You sign up, upload your existing fertility reports (AMH, AFC, semen analysis, prior IVF cycles, scans), and Miro extracts the values, builds your fertility fertility passport, and explains every phase of your treatment in plain language. From there it gives you red-flag warnings, doctor-ready summaries, questions to ask, and direct messaging with your clinic — and lets you share the passport with any clinic.

Who is Miro Fertility for?

Patients trying to conceive, planning IVF, or going through treatment — and the fertility clinics that treat them. Miro's patient app is free; its clinic portal is a paid fertility EMR powered by the patient passport.

How does Miro share my passport with a clinic?

You generate a secure share link from your dashboard. The clinic opens it in a browser — no account needed — and sees a read-only view of the passport details you chose to share. Links are time-limited and can be revoked at any time from your settings.

Is my data on Miro Fertility private?

Yes. Miro is DPDP Act 2023 compliant, encrypts data at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS), and never sells health data to advertisers. You can export everything or delete your account at any time.

Is Miro Fertility PCPNDT compliant?

Yes. Miro is PCPNDT 1994 compliant — fetal sex information is never recorded, displayed, or shared anywhere on the platform.

Does Miro Fertility work outside India?

The platform is accessible globally, but clinical content, the cost calculator, and the clinic finder are tuned for India. Patients outside India can still build a passport and use the Fertility AI Companion for plain-language IVF education.

Can my fertility clinic use Miro?

Yes. Miro offers a clinic portal — a lightweight fertility EMR built around the patient-owned passport. Clinics can manage patients, appointments, treatment cycles, prescriptions, and invoicing. Visit /for-clinics to request access.
