Most people pack around 34–36 weeks. For IVF pregnancies, which are more often monitored closely or delivered by planned C-section, packing a little earlier takes the pressure off.
Hospitals in India differ a lot in what they supply. Ask yours what's included — some provide baby clothes, maternity pads or nappies.
