Hospital basic facilties to be improved a lot , to get milk or tea itself we need to wait for 1/2 hr and these people bill even the item is not available and the worst part is they don’t even allow food or milk from outside even for attenders. With only one people to attend some 20 people standing in the queue and same goes for lifts as well. Pathetic facilities .

I admitted my wife to Velammal Hospital for treatment of Crohn's disease. Now she is doing fine, and we had a very good experience with the doctors and treatment. Especially, Dr. Lavanya was very caring, professional, and explained everything clearly. I would gladly give 5 stars for the doctors and medical treatment. Our family had a very unfortunate experience at Velammal Hospital. My uncle was admitted for kidney-related treatment. During medication, he developed severe leg swelling and allergy. After his previous angioplasty history was noted, surgery was performed. Post-surgery, despite him repeatedly complaining of intense pain, the nursing staff repeatedly said it was normal and did not escalate or monitor it adequately in our view.
